I think the girl in the MV represents all VIPs who devote themselves to Big Bang, and how difficult that relationship can be.

At times you are so close to them, yet so very far away and in a different time. When they are going through their own personal struggles, you are there for them, but not literally there. Some times they wish to escape from you all, because they feel as though they’ve disappointed you, but we still keep running to them. And they want to reach out to us all, but we’re not there to feel their embrace.

I think the girl represents the overall VIP spirit. That in their own times of sorrow, that girl is there for them. That’s what makes our boys go on, the VIPs are their spirit, and inspiration to keep on going, even if the VIPs are not physically there.
